Welcome back to another chapter of The Quest Log. I've really enjoyed playing this family again, and this will be the last chapter of my turn. It's not super long, but I hope you enjoy! Abigail: BUT I AM JUST GOING TO MISS YOU SO BAD, I'VE NEVER KNOWN ANY OTHER CREATOR.
It's okay, you'll enjoy your time on Roxanne's computer. Besides, you'll get to see me again someday. Shane completes the Whiz Kid aspiration and begins working on Rambunctious Scamp next.
I sent Rhonin to a museum so he could look at artwork for his aspiration.
I sent Sebastian along to look for crystals, but we ended up having to go to a different lot for that.
It took so long to find the last crystal Sebastian needed that he actually got struck by lightning.
Back home, Abigail is still working on her violin skill and has actually maxed it out.
Roxanne - she has 3 songs to be licensed, one was just recently licensed though. But there are surprises for you in the names of the songs. It's time for Emmy to become a mature adult! I had started her early on kids just in case they didn't get geek, since sometimes it can take forever for someone to get the trait. So I'm grateful that thanks to Sebastian also having the trait it gave us lots of options.
Emmy still looks great as a mature adult. Shane completes rambunctious scamp right before his birthday. I gave him Artistic Prodigy but I knew that I didn't have enough time to complete it.
At least he completed two aspirations, which is more than I can say for his siblings as of now since I hate how buggy Social Butterfly can be. I'm also lazy, but I should get better at that. He looks so much like his mother it's crazy!
Post makeover, and I still can't get over how strong the Quest genetics are. Unfortunately, Shane is the only kid this generation who will not be getting the geek trait, and thus is not eligible for heir.
Abigail has another mood swing and cries in her parent's closet.
But despite her mood swing, she's able to collect all of the scouting badges.
The twins have been trying to work on their social butterfly aspirations together.
Thanksgiving in The Sims has arrived, and while I couldn't get Emmy to change out of her work clothes or Sebastian to change out of his workout clothes, I at least got the whole family to sit down for a meal, which is more than I can say for the Disney's in my name game.
After finishing their meal, Abigail begins mentoring Shane in violin, which is the last thing she needs to do for her aspiration.
They stay here for the next three hours, which completes Abigail's aspiration. Next I decided to give her Mt. Komorebi Sightseer to give Roxanne a reason to explore Mt. Komorebi. But I'll admit, I ended up working on it some because I just couldn't resist. Plus, I have a soft spot for Abigail. At the same time that Abigail started mentoring Shane, Rhonin does the dreaded wave.
Evelyn: Ooh, cool dance moves Grandpa, let me try!
Sweetie....that's not.... The Harvest Fest gnomes have arrived for the dance party as well. Flora, who has a key, Sebastian, Emmy, and Elliott all show up and grieve properly. Well, mostly, Emmy is finishing her food from dinner.
Despite the sounds of her family crying, Evelyn is really in the zone for dancing and just continues to dance.
Once Rhonin is officially gone, Evelyn snaps out of it and begins crying.
It hit her harder than the rest of the family, I think because she felt guilty about dancing the whole time. She spends a lot of time crying in the various beds in the house. Today's choice is her twin brother's bed.
Since I knew the festival of lights only showed up every other week, I sent Abigail to check it out when I got the notification that it was happening.
Opening seed packets left by the gnomes completed Sebastian's aspiration. Next I gave him Nerd Brain, even though not a lot of things need upgraded, the basement is very empty and since I know Roxanne will probably be the one to decorate it, I wanted her to have someone who could easily upgrade things she puts down there.
Out in the family's sand box, Abigail is making a questionable sand sculpture. It honestly looks like a butt to me. But maybe I'm just a child, who knows. Lol.
Evelyn came to join her and they ended up making a really cute sea turtle.
The snow festival occurred the next day, and I sent the whole family to participate in building snow sculptures.
Abigail was even able to snap a quick selfie with the mascot! I had Abigail and Evelyn go sledding just so I could take this picture, and I really love how it turned out.
Back at home, Emmy has taken to floating on her Grandfather's favorite raft.
During the festival of youth, Evelyn participates in the virtual voidcritters, which I can only assume is based on Pokemon Go.
She collects all ten and gets a reward from the mascot.
Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to get the paper hat and that was the whole reason I sent them. I didn't see the purple vending machine. Oh well. Back at home, I realize that I never had Emmy finish knitting all the clothing for Roxanne. So, Roxanne you'll need to have her finish the socks, everything else is added to their wardrobe except socks.
Also, the baby onesies have disappeared (I might have sold them on Plopsy) so you'll need to make those too if you want them. I really like how the magical tree looks on the snow. I had actually forgotten I got it for them until I saw the pretty colors on the snow.
In true Quest fashion, Shane comes home from school with a mood swing and is enraged.
That doesn't stop him from completing all his badges in scouts though!
Tonight is a bittersweet night - it's time for all the geek children to grow up and that also means my turn is ending. First up, our eldest child is becoming a young adult. She's still super stunning, and I really love her. After Abigail, the twins go up to their birthday cakes as well, but you'll have to wait a minute to see them after their make overs.
I really like Abigail, and she's honestly my favorite appearance wise. However, her aspiration and traits are pretty generic. Though, I honestly could see her doing a Star Wars aspiration and going for the Resistance. (Somehow the pictures didn't save, but the whole family dressed up as Star Wars characters for Halloween and Abigail was Leia.)
Also, yikes, I see the typo on geek. Elliott looks a lot like both parents, I think. But definitely favors the Quest side of the family.
Evelyn is the most unique looking, in my opinion. I went with the new snowy escape "grown out" blue hair (since it's still technically brown) because I felt like with her aspiration, and with being the youngest, she was trying to be seen more. Because I'll admit, until the end I did spend a lot of my time on Abigail, as well as trying to finish scouts on Shane.
Honestly, It's a really good looking generation, and Roxanne and I are definitely going to have a hard time choosing our heir. But I'll be happy with any of them.
Following in Roxanne's footsteps, I took some photos of the family to save for posterity.
What a better way to end our chapter than with Miss Evelyn dancing, which we all know is clearly her favorite thing to do. That's where we'll leave this chapter! I will have another chapter out as soon as possible! Feel free to check in with us over at BoolProp, we'd love to chat!
